This has been the approach for managing engagement and ongoing consultation with business owners potentially affected by construction activities relating to the Tunnel and Station Civil (TSC) works on North West Rail Link.The BMP identified most business stakeholders that may be impacted by the works and the issues specific to each stakeholder and mitigation measures related to impacts, such as maintaining vehicular and pedestrian access during business hours, and maintaining visibility of the business appropriate to its reliance on such as required by the Ministers Conditions of Approval.My responsibilities include:• Carrying out introductory meetings with business stakeholders prior to commencement of works;• Engagement and ongoing consultation with business stakeholders to create business profiles and identify potential issues;• In consultation with site management, identification of mitigation strategies that can help maintain business continuity throughout construction;• Planning and coordination of Business Connect briefings for interested business stakeholders;• Relaying issues to construction teams for response;• Working with site teams to quickly resolve inquiries and complaints from businesses.In this role I was a finalist in the TSC monthly individual most valuable team member Awards in August 2015. The Community and communications team have recently been awarded the NSW award for excellence in community relations at the Public Relations Institute of Australia Awards 2015.I excel in communicating and managing key stakeholders, policy makers, project teams and media.
