• Responsible for all facets of human resources functions for Office of Information Management and the Division of Vital Records and Health Statistics for the Virginia Department of Health.
• Recruitment Management; enter and update all information in state recruitment software; prepare and post job announcements with various recruiting sources
• Complete full cycle of recruitment process; conduct interviews, check references, and salary negotiations
• Provide consultation regarding appropriate compensation for newly established positions; conducts audits to determine proper classification, FLSA status, etc.
• Monitor HR tracking requirements; track and file grievances; review and track performance management documents; and handles record retention activities.
