I'm a strategic and outcome-focused ICT Management professional with a 25-year career in multiple sectors, most recently in financial and professional services but also private contracting.My focus is always on providing business value through IT, rather than on IT itself. I’m pragmatic, analytical, can easily see through hype and I'm always looking for ways to bring value to the business.I have worked in various IT management roles, ranging from operations, to project management to corporate functions, working with multiple countries, providing guidance and control, implementing global systems, as well as setting global IT policies. I have a reputation for exceptional people and stakeholder communication, from "business as usual" through to mergers and acquisitions. Underpinning my approach is fostering of relationships and galvanising teams across whole organisations and geographies to deliver imaginative, innovative and inclusive outcomes. Effectively combining technical expertise with commercial acumen, I particularly enjoy aligning myself with a vision, focusing on change and innovation, and finally delivering scalable solutions that have the capabilities to adapt to ever-changing business needs.
