I am an Insurance Operations and Training Specialist. My current duties include but not limited to developing and training Staff and Independent Adjusters on Citizens’ policies, Claim Tracking System, claim file quality standards, and Xactimate. Develop and present catastrophe orientations. Develop and teach continuing education courses to adjusters.When I started with Citizens, I was a part of the Quality Assurance and Training team. I audit files for all claim units. Created, presented, and performed file calibration during Quality Assurance training sessions. Provided feedback on claim quality audit results and made recommendations for improvements.Before Citizens, I worked for State Farm Insurance for 9 years. I held the role of Team Leader, which I was responsible for answering coverage questions to Claim Representatives, monitoring claim queues, open file reviews, giving file authority, and staff scheduling.While I was at State Farm Insurance, I worked residential and commercial claims. I handled claims in all fifty states and Canada. Also, I was a Centralized Catastrophe Coordinator. This position afforded me the opportunity to acclimate Field Representatives and Independent Adjusters into an in-office claim environment.I hold adjuster licenses in mulitiple states. I have a PCLS, Property Claims Law Specialist, certification from Society of Claim Law Associates. I am a Florida State Certfied CE Instructor for staff, independent, and public adjusters. I am Xactimate 25 and 27 user certified. I have Water Mitigation and Applied Structural Drying Certifications from IICRC, Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification.
