Marine surveyor prepares vessel appraisals for condition and value in the purchase or sale of small craft and yachts. By following the standards of ABYC and USCG regulations along with in depth technical and market knowledge a surveyor presents a full survey of the condition of the vessel inspected. Involved is the knowledge of hull design, construction methods & materials and what happens to them under various conditions of use and service. The same applies to vessel propulsion, navigation, communication, electrical and waste disposal systems.

Head of logistics, cashier and workshop (in store). With all 3 sectors combined I am responsible for half of the store staff. In this role I oversee and implement routines for all three sectors while maintaining company guidelines. Follow up and analyze all KPI’s regarding sectors to reach target goals. Responsible for recruiting and coaching new and old staff and following up on schedules for all 3 sectors. Responsible for implementing any new or major projects within store. A new and exciting role in the company that also assists the warehouse manager and general oversight of workplace.

Responsible for incoming and outgoing deliveries from central warehouse and direct deliveries from suppliers and services/warranties. This also includes close communication with suppliers, central warehouse, finance and IT department. Responsible for everything regarding inventories and store stock. Replenish store with products according to store concept. Responsible for staff, schedules, routines and everything IT related. General organization and structure of storage room. Forklift is used daily.

Telesales Agent (telemarketing). During this time I lived and worked in Marbella, Spain. This role included recruiting new customers and following up with prior customers in Sweden. This was more a B2B role were we sold a wide variety of products to only small, mid and large sized companies. No private individual sales.

Store manager for the outlet department with staff of 7. This was a new sister company from the original ASKO concept offering a more budget friendly version of furniture. This was a new concept for Sweden at the time and I had the pleasure of being the first one to help start the brand. In my role as store manager I was responsible for store concept, planning and designing layout of store. Implementing all routines and services. Recruiting staff and all scheduling. In charge of budget and all KPI’s, marketing, inventories, incoming and outgoing deliveries. We opened a second location around the same time which I also helped design and set routines for but was not the manager for that location.

Länna, Sweden

Working as a salesman in this mid-high end furniture store included several responsibilities. Helped customers find and invest in furniture to suit their style, budget and needs. Sold ready sets and custom furniture in all segments. Every employee was responsible for all individual orders from start to finish including placing orders, following up on deliveries and contacting customers upon arrival. Helped stage showrooms, maintaining general store appearance, unloading delivery trucks and using forklift in storage room.
