My combined experience in the business sector, as well as in ministry, gives me a unique perspective when it comes to partnering with my husband Joe in the business that he built, Quick Quality Construction and Home Management. I spent fifteen years in ministry, applying business principals in a non-profit and church setting. While it was rewarding, it was time for a new career season, with greater challenge. As a ministry consultant, a value for me is to work with an organization that seeks to make a difference in the community and world. My father is an entrepreneur and I worked in his business for ten years learning about all aspects of running a business including customer relations, accounts management, marketing and promotions, and human resources. I thrive in an environment where I juggle many important tasks, building relationships, and making things happen in a fun-filled way.In ministry I ran large teams of volunteers, headed up fundraising campaigns, grew my department greatly and charted new courses. As a servant leader I love creative collaboration with team members, and I would never expect my staff to do something I would not do myself. I am someone who can get in the trenches, work hard and do whatever it takes to put on an event and then change into the charming host of the same event, making sure everyone is having fun so as to achieve the desired outcome.There is nothing more important than relationships, and I have a knack for authentically connecting with people quickly. Truth be told, connection is what drives me and it is why I am a successful leader, valuable team member and accomplished professional. Whether it was working in hotels and the food and beverage industry, sales and marketing, office management, ministry or retail connection has always been the key to my success.
