I am a licensed CPA, holding an individual and firm permit to practice. I am currently working as a consultant in accounting and internal control systems and as a CFO-for-hire. I started my professional career in the McGladrey office in Rapid City in 1984. I joined the Cheyenne, WY office of McGladrey in 1986. The Cheyenne office of McGladrey became McGee, Hearne and Paiz, LLP (a McGladrey Alliance network office) in 2000, and are now known as MHP. While I worked off and on for McGladrey/MHP during most of my career, I've sometimes stepped out of public accounting to pursue time with my family and other interests before returning to MHP for several years. Since leaving MHP permanently, I've enjoyed assisting for-profit and non-profit organizations with accounting, finance, management and internal control challenges on a project basis. This includes working with organizations as their interim CFO, assisting them to find a permanent employee to live in Laramie while performing the accounting, finance, customer and board relations functions of the CFO.
