I have 16 years experince of working in the Cable TV and Telecoms industry. I have worked in the collections dept, billing dept and revenue assurance dept.Whilst in collections I dealt with CATV and Telco disconnections, made out going arrears calls and incoming calls after letter and disconnection runs. Set up refunds process and ran monthly write off reports.During my time with the billing dept I was with the billing problems team, this involved a lot of contact with I.T. This fuction led onto me working on the Telco suspense files, this eventually became my full time job. For 2 years I also had a team of temps working for me. This then led onto working the PPV suspense files. Went back to working on Telco suspense and was then working on Comtel and ntl: suspense and rating systems. Was still doing this when I was moved to the AIM ( Account Integrity Management ) team.Since I have been with AIM I have moved away from the suspense function. I now administer the depts Key Integrity Tracker and am prime adminstrator for our Issue Management System. I was also a key part of the setting up of this system, this involved being in London for 2 weeks working with the software provider.Specialties: Bridging the gap between users and providers, example is the Issue Management system. I can understand relatively technical things but able to relay that to non technical people.I like to investigate, the suspense work was a prime example of this. The billing system would have to be fully interogated. This also meant having an eye for detail.
