Robin Ormerod and Kristin Zeise co-founded Pacific Environment in 1998. Since its humble beginnings as a privately owned business based in Brisbane, Robin has overseen its growth from a small 3 person operation, to a publicly listed company on the ASX. Robin’s ability to look at complex environmental issues and break them down into solvable elements is second to none. Throughout Pacific Environment’s lifetime, Robin has personally overseen and completed technical work that continues to underpin environmental policy at commonwealth, state and local government levels in Australia. He has held key leadership positions in specialist professional groups in air pollution science, presented courses and authored many technical papers. Robin’s guidance has spearheaded the use of meteorological models for novel uses in ways that have become standard methodologies in Australia. His work has been fundamental in developing systems that enhance operational efficiency and minimise impacts from industrial activities both in Australia and Internationally. Over the last 30 years, Robin has remained a leading expert in applied meteorology and air quality consulting in Australia.

Technology includes EnviroSuite, a predictive and real-time decision-support system for managing compliance with air and noise performance criteria, as well as on-line data management, modelling and reporting tools.
