Employed as the only designer at PMYB. Was challenged to adapt and become proficient in a vast array of design disciplines, aiding all departments with any design related queries. Some achievements include;Implemented a new end-to-end marketing process whereby all proposals and reports were given new, structured templates which were all consistent with the brand identity. This increased the productivity of many different departments by reducing the time spent creating decks by approximately 60%.Worked with and reported to brands at the forefront of their industries, editing content and creating assets for the likes of Groupon, Azar, Tiktok, Etoro, Ancestry, Kaspersky and National lottery. For Azar, edited over 50 videos for a social media ad campaign that spanned 4 European markets and gained over 4 million impressions.On recognising that the company’s branding was outdated, implemented a new brand identity which included a full website redesign, social media asset creation and promotional materials.Tasked with recruiting/leading a small team of freelancers to assist with periods of more intense workloads.Providing training for team members in programmes to ensure efficiency when producing external communications.Regularly worked extra hours to hit important deadlines and unphased by work being given at the last minute.

The projects I completed cover a wide range of design disciplines, from graphic and web design, creating pamphlets and websites for a wedding catering company, to manufacturing large wooden window inserts for a local Church. Most notably I’ve created full branding work for several start-up companies, and for well-established national businesses based in the Derbyshire area.

Grantham

Part of a small, busy design team designing sofas for high-street retailers with a company at the forefront of popular sofa design. Main responsibilities included:Meeting with clients to discuss the initial brief and understand their needs.Working at a fast pace to take a client brief from initial hand drawn sketches to the rendering stage using Illustrator and Photoshop.Providing scale drawings to the frame technician and discussing improvements, using their manufacturing advice to ensure the brief is fulfilled.Organising trips to trade shows in Europe with the goal of identifying new trends in the furniture industry, flying to Milan for the Milan Furniture Fair, and facilitating a trip to Cologne for the IMM show.Clients included:Next IKEA ArgosJohn LewisDunelm
