Currently in Final Year working on my thesis and multiple modules.I am an intuitive student with a large range of experience under my belt. This ranges from 15 years experience in Scouting Ireland to 15 years playing and performing piano and now my current engagement in third level education. More recently, alongside my studies in mechanical engineering, I have been a very active student in college life which is clearly seen through the sheer amount of work I have done with the DIT Student Union (DITSU)and DIT societies. Firstly, I have been appointed the Chairperson/Secretary of the DIT Engineering Society, a role I will work hard in. Within DITSU (DIT Student Union) for me, this means being a class rep, school rep, student Councillor, peer mentor, vice-chair to the College Officer as well as the many contested elections I have ran in. These include: Running to be the College Officer for Bolton Street (Meaning the representative of the 3000ish students in Bolton street on a DIT wide level) and running for the position of student director on the DITSU CLG. Board of Directors.To sum up, I am a people-person, eager to learn and to push myself to new heights and be the best I can be.
