My current role as an Assistant Producer requires me to utilise a range of skills in general administration and people management to help ensure the smooth running of the company. I worked with the West Dunbartonshire Council Arts Development and the Youth Theatre to help perform the following duties:• I regularly attended rehearsals of the theatre group to help contribute and document the rehearsal and devising process• Build rapport with the youths attending the group and the staff running the project.• I used camera equipment to document the ‘After the Factory’ theatre project, that was then shown at a showing to University and Council staff along with the parents and friends of the participants.• I had to establish and maintain a project archive to include all the photographs and footage created during the documentation process • Work with computer software to edit the footage to produce the final film that was shown at the sharing.
