I initially started teaching grade 6 learners in 2017 and moved over to grade 5 at the beginning of 2018. I am a 'base class' teacher so I teach my class most of their subjects every day. Teaching has taught me a lot about myself and I have found myself drawn to children typically categorised as LSEN (having special needs), particularly ADHD and ASD. I hope to continue growing in this industry and eventually, with my Masters, growing my profile as a holistic counsellor.

I had the pleasure of assisting members of the gym with proper weight training techniques and lifestyle advice. It was also my responsibility to ensure that the gym was a hygienic, safe and comfortable environment for all members at all times.

I was a personal trainer within the gym as well as an administrative assistant and spinning instructor. I worked with people of all needs and helped them through post surgery rehabilitation and improved their general fitness. My favourite part of the job was instructing cycling classes and group fitness. I learnt a lot about how to maintain different machines and have become creative in finding solutions.

Working only during the December-January period I handled the tills and occassionally the floor as a casual.
