My professional experience for more than 37 years is as a corporate and business adviser--initially as an tax accountant/consultant and most recently as a business attorney. As a certified public accountant, I have had the privilege to offer clients insights to help them maximize their wealth and profits. As an attorney, I have had the ability to offer legal counsel as to the assessment and management of practical business risks. And as a founding and managing partner of my firm, I have had a unique first hand experience to make business decisions that required management of the delicate balance of return vs. risk.Successful business ventures are ones that both maximize wealth (predominantly an accounting perspective) and minimize risk (a legal perspective). No risk no return, and the measurement of a prospective return based upon accepting a measured risk is good business.
