Tester And Quality Assurance Specialist
CurrentResponsible for provisioning and quality testing of multiple devices that ensure accurate and reliable tracking of client shipments, conformance to food transportation standards, and supply chain security • Provisioning and Quality Assurance programming of devices as per customer specifications and preferred cellular or GPS-based real-time location services• Inspection of devices to verify signal strength, temperature variance, light sensitivity, and other critical parameters in accordance with quality conformance standards • Routine testing of devices on multiple platforms to adjust against platform variance and debug errors without production intervention• Ensuring adherence to safety and compliance regulations pre and post production• Generating test reports (NCRs) and providing feedback about non-conformances to Engineering and production management• Ensuring accountability of production team for closing major non-conformances and participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCAs) where required• Documenting testing processes and recommending process changes to save time and / or cost• Training and supervising new team members as required on one or more of the above quality control and inspection tasks
