Cache Infrastructure Team• Optimized code related to adding items to cache, improving runtime from O(n2) to O(n)• Created and implemented an Admission Control Algorithm, to decide which requests should be processed and which should be dropped, to save resources.• Mostly coded in C, with some C++.• Wrote unit tests, and tested code in production.

• Worked in Amsterdam while collaborating with other interns in Chicago (7 hour time difference)• Worked with the head of Technology R&D to discover the cause and propose a solution to a database scalability issue• Worked in a group of 7 to develop a profitable automatic trading system. Written in Java, using the Spring Framework.• Cooperated with trading interns to incorporate trading strategies they developed
