I am a Human Resources executive that most recently supported the human resource functions of an 82 store, privately held retail chain, called Christmas Tree Shops (CTS) that specializes in unique seasonal and home décor merchandise at an affordable price.I drive results by balancing employee needs and business objectives to create integrated solutions that drive sales and support our customer service efforts.I led multiple projects that have updated and revamped tools and foundational training which provides a platform to enhance the company’s culture and support the company’s strategic initiatives. This included updating hourly job descriptions and aligning new job titles for better role clarity, as well as revamping the non-exempt On the Job Training platform for front and back of the store, which creates a path for cross training to provide a better customer service experience.This past year I lead a workstream that built assessments for Store Managers, Assistant Store Managers and Keyholding Supervisors to enhance leadership skills that are dedicated to developing their store team, provide great customer service, and drive top line revenue growth. We saw improvement through the development, staffing, and training of team members, to think more broadly on how their role supports the total store and company initiatives, in order to provide a great customer service experience.
