Ron Carey is the Founder and CEO of TiltCP, a fully integrated content company focused on creating and producing video and animated content for some of the largest businesses in the world. In 2018, Ron created TiltCP to help brands improve the way they manage their content needs. As an entrepreneur, optimist, and CX-focused executive, Ron’s purpose is not just about doing business, but also to leave a lasting impact on the lives of his employees and clients.Prior to starting his own business, Ron worked in a variety of careers from Consumer-Packaged Goods, Pharmaceuticals to Media, and Advertising. Ron began his career at M&M/Mars, cutting his teeth in the sales & HR divisions, and eventually moved to the Skittles and Starbucks brand leadership team, where he worked in manufacturing to support R&D functions. Ron continued his career in HR at Wyeth Consumer Healthcare(now Pfizer) from 2004 to 2006.In 2006, while working for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Ron partnered with other leaders across the company to shift how a traditional media company could function and how the organization defined itself. For his work, he was recognized as a Top 20 leader under 40 by Press Time Magazine. Two years into his career with the RT-D, he established the Innovation Group and spent the next three years developing, building, and rolling out new products.In 2011, Ron made his first forays into the media and advertising world, as driven by his role as the SVP/Director of Human Resources at the Martin Agency, and subsequently served as President of Studio Squared, a digital agency that was part of the Martin Agency and IPG from 2014 - 2018.In his downtime, Ron works with Child Savers and Junior Achievement to help support disadvantaged children in his community. A graduate of the University of Virginia, Ron resides in Richmond, VA with his wife Meg and three daughters: Olivia (Emerson College 2021), Eleanor (GW University 2024) and Kate (10th grader Deep Run High School).
