My role is to lead and develop the Human Resources department for a growing manufacturer and serve as a business partner on the senior leadership team. My main responsibilities is to develop, organize and administer all HR policies, procedures, and functions by providing expertise and guidance to all levels of the organization. I work directly with associates, managers, and supervisors to ensure a professional and proactive approach to communication, and resolution of employee and management concerns. Additionally, I am responsible for supporting the recruiting and on-boarding of new associates, HRIS system, payroll functions/database, and benefits (OE, 401k, shopping of benefits, etc.).

•Provide consultative support to employees and managers in various aspects of human resources services including terminations, harassment, discrimination, coaching, issue resolution, performance, etc.•Recruiting, work within budget requirements for career events, develop job descriptions, grading of jobs within the organization and making sure compensation is comparable to markets for similar jobs•Deliver and develop specialized training in compensation, organization planning and development, employee relations•Conducts investigations when employee complaints or concerns are brought forward, and recommending appropriate next steps•Demonstrated ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the management team, providing recommendations, consultations related to employee and business matters•Lead new hire orientations to make sure on-boarding process has been completed timely•Develop, communicate, and interpret Human Resource policies and procedures•Maintain a knowledge of EEO, FMLA, OSHA, ADA, COBRA, INS and other government regulations

● Supported the various call centers within Diebold, Incorporated (CRC, EMC and TD)● Lead HR business initiatives such as succession planning, mergers/acquisitions, reorganizations, reduction in force, staffing, employee relation issues, benefits, HRIS administration (i.e. compensation workbench, manager self-services and employee self-services).● Promote best business practices while ensuring compliance of all internal policies and federal and state laws. Deliver manager training in these areas to front line managers.● Comprehensive knowledge of human resource legislation and Federal, State, and Local employment laws and staying current in these areas and assist with training in such areas.● HRIS Management: Maintain data integrity for all HRIS information including hires, applicant tracking, and any other records as required. Ensure processing of associate changes including job title, supervisor, and organization. Notify appropriate corporate departments where necessary through the distribution listings.

● Responsible for overseeing all functions of the HR department (payroll, benefits, workman’s compensation and recruitment). Manage the Human Resources employees that are directly involved in these processes.● Work with managers to counsel them on disciplinary matters, performance issues and attendance issues with the employees they manage.● Provide staffing support to fill skilled and exempt level positions. Took the lead on establishing the first co-op program for the Engineering Department.● Established and conduct department meetings on a regular basis to communicate updates to the Human Resources Staff.
