Ported shell and c++ software from AIX to linux.Since SSNs are part of the product I work on, I helped to develop and have to work in a highly secured environment where all files are encrypted, access is logged, and all communications are secured.Implemented cleaning of data so that comparisons could be made of names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses. Significantaccomplishments involved designing a way to provision all virtual ports (VP) assigned to 1603 and cross-connect them in a matter of hours, versus days.Designed an abstraction layer for entities that needed their true nomenclature. Allowed 512 instances out of 4096 named instances.Developed tool with GUI interface to help with testing of telecom switch. Tool connected through TCP/IP, and could run from the command line or from a file. Results were compared against expected results. This reduced time spent testing and developing.

Maintained and developed an interactive rule-checking debugger with GUI front-end. This debugger helped chip designers visually find their design rule and layout versus schematic errors. Developed a translator from one design layout database to another.
