Fast-track promotions through a series of increasingly responsible leadership roles. Managed a team of 14 professionals responsible for New Ventures, Exploration and Development of all international properties, including reserve bookings. Maintained compliance of the approved annual capital budgets for these departments. Worked closely with the Drilling and Engineering departments in performing all geological operations and due diligence on international wells and properties.

Worked with Operator, Mobil, to develop the Zafiro Field Complex in Equatorial Guinea, which has added 1.3 billion barrels oil recoverable reserves. This included the interpretation of 3-D seismic and well data to propose, drill and complete 27 development wells. Through the use of Neural Network and 3-D visualization techniques, a 100% drilling success rate was achieved. Development and use of in-house thin-bed well log analysis technology resulted in a 40% increase in NEP in thin-bed pay zones.Proposed, drilled and completed 12 development wells, as Operator, in the Lion/Panthere fields in Côte d’Ivoire. Achieved a 100% drilling success rate in this complex-faulted field through detailed interpretation and integration of both seismic and geologic data sets, resulting in 77 MMBOE reserves. The Lion Field reached a peak production rate of 20 MBOPD. The Panthere Field continues to produce between 60-100 MCFGPD, depending on the country’s utility needs.Responsible for all geotechnical work involved in annual reserve bookings for international properties, including arriving at a consensus with SEC-approved reserve assessment companies on “bookable” reserves.
