I lead Philip Lee's Competition, Regulated Markets & EU Law Group as well as being part of Philip Lee's pre-eminent Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences team.My role is to assist clients in getting their products and services to market. This involves understanding the regulatory framework within which clients operate, and then negotiating and drafting various forms of distribution, supply and related agreements from a commercial contracts' perspective. My work in this context is carried out primarily for clients in the pharmaceutical & healthcare sector as well as the automotive industry. In addition, I have a broad regulatory practice, counselling on both contentious and advisory questions of EU law, merger control (before the CCPC and European Commission), State aid and other challenging competition law/antitrust related matters. I also regularly advise on specific issues affecting regulated markets, primarily the pharmaceutical & healthcare, media and broadcasting sectors, as well as in relation to the automotive industry and emerging market of CBD/industrial hemp.
