In addition, I am a key member of Philip Lee's pre-eminent Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences team.My role is to assist clients in getting their products and services to market. This involves understanding the regulatory framework within which our clients operate, and then negotiating and drafting various forms of distribution, supply and related agreements from a commercial contracts' perspective. My work in this context is carried out primarily for clients in the pharmaceutical & healthcare sector as well as the automotive industry. In addition, I have a broad regulatory practice, counselling on both contentious and advisory questions of EU law, merger control (before the CCPC and European Commission), State aid and other challenging competition law/antitrust related matters. In this context I also regularly advise on specific issues affecting regulated markets, primarily the pharmaceutical & healthcare, media and broadcasting sectors, as well as in relation to the automotive industry and emerging market of CBD/industrial hemp.Finally, my group provides on-going advice and training to both domestic and multinational clients on their compliance policies (including in respect of competition law compliance and regulatory investigations).

I tutored various aspects of competition law and consumer law to trainee solicitors attending the Law Society of Ireland's Professional Practice Courses.

I practiced in the EU, Competition and Regulated Markets Group of McCann FitzGerald for approximately 9 years, advising an array of clients on a variety of competition law related matters as well as commercial contracts across a broad range of sectors.

I trained to become a solicitor in McCann FitzGerald, one of Ireland's premier law firms. During my traineeship I spent approximately six months in each of the following departments: (i) EU, Competition and Regulated Markets, (ii) Project Finance / Aviation Law, (iii) Commercial Litigation, and (iv) Construction Litigation. The remaining nine months of my traineeship was spent attending the Law Society of Ireland's Professional Practice Courses.

I tutored European law and criminal law to students in UCD's Bachelor of Civil Law degree programme, in respect of courses taught by Professor Dermot Cahill and Professor Finbarr McAuley.
