Senior Cloud Infrastructure Specialist
CurrentResponsible for designing, integrating, implementation and maintenance of the cloud storage and network systems and setup (IT Infrastructure) in datacenters spread across different countries. • Manage the infrastructure spread across multiple countries like Los Angeles, Oregon, Virginia, Canada, Ireland, Paris, Madrid, Singapore and many more places to ensure that the storage servers are healthy and deliver best performance • Coordinate with datacenter technicians for daily maintenance activities and developing a plan of action and roadmap for setting up new infrastructure • Regular monitoring of the entire storage infrastructure through scripts and generate reports on hardware failures and other incidents for further analysis • Engage in technological research activities • FREEIPA – Identity Management system (LDAP) • Work on Monitoring tools like Zabbix and Kibana - For organizing infrastructure visualizations, dashboards, data views • OSSEC - Open Source Host-based Intrusion Detection System • FAIL2BAN scanning of log files and ban IPs that shows malicious signs • Data migration and server migrations from one datacenter to another • Periodic integrity check on data stored in all storage servers • Cater to doing infrastructure coordination related to design and setup activities at different stages of various SAAS and PAAS projects on Public and Private cloud • Setup DevOps environment based on GitLab, Docker • Work with Data Center technicians during events like power failure, network downtime and take preventive and corrective measures for minimizing downtime • Professionally represent the company during client and vendor meetings and engage in Datacenter evaluation and selection • Work with Cyber Security teams to monitor threats, alerts, and security vulnerabilities for installed systems
