I have approached my career like this: First, I say yes to things, especially if it’s something I don’t know how to do yet. That's when I have learned the most. Second, I listen intently. Everyone has something to teach, especially those with whom I don’t agree. Lastly, I put heart into whatever I do. I believe the energy and intention one puts into something is felt by those who sees it. After many years of practice, I find myself a well-rounded creative director, working in video, motion design, and brand direction. I can craft a strong story, write mantras and manifestos, and develop concepts and strategy backed with the technical know-how that comes from years of creative production experience. I have a proven track record of taking projects from the “tiny kernel of an idea” phase to finished product, whether that’s a short film, brand identity guidelines, social campaigns, or physical installations. Whether producing work in-house with a no-budget DIY approach, or guiding external partners with lots of budget, I love riding the wave of the creative process. While I enjoy getting into the fray and puzzling things out on my own, I also love working with others to build energy and momentum. I have a wealth of experience leading creative teams with levity, inclusion, and a problem-solving attitude. I excel at building relationships with people cross-functionally and selling in creative, both from a design and strategic standpoint. I want projects that I touch to always be high in quality, both in execution and thoughtfulness, so that there is meaning, not just noise.
