o Continuing work to implement the Brightspace LMSo Building course content within the LMS to take in-person trainings and translate them for an online learning experienceo Manage all areas within the LMS including functionality, appearance, tabs, and settings.o Acquire and maintain knowledge of current technology as it applies to LMS software and systems.o Author and maintain technical procedures and policy documentation.o Act as an internal consultant by analyzing data and recommending solutions to utilize the LMS to deliver, track training, and measure performance to meet organizational objectives.o Create and update resources to train and support learners on how to use the technology for online and professional development.o Create and manage the overall course structure and set up course programs based on specifications from the instructional designer.o Provide troubleshooting assistance for users regarding signing on to the LMS and accessing courses and resolving issues relating to system functionality.o Serve as point of escalation for internal support issues, which may include interaction with the LMS vendor and other vendor support services.

During this time, I am working as an editor for a client who is working on a Young Adult novel. I am editing the novel for grammar, structure, flow, and clarity. I am also offering advice on story coherency as well as giving feedback as a reader.

The Belltower is Saint Martin's University's student run newspaper. I worked first as a Staff Writer for the paper before becoming a Section Editor and finally became Editor in Chief after our former EIC graduated in 2016. As Editor in Chief, I am in charge of all the students who work for the paper, both Staff Writers, Editors, Layout staff, and Business staff. We have an Advisor, who is a professor at the college, who guides us and who I work closely with. Through this position I have learned how to lead a team of individuals as well as time management, as we are always on a deadline. I also learned how to hire individuals as well as how to delegate tasks to play to everyone's strengths. This role also enabled me to learn editing skills, both in text and in layout. The role also gave me familiarity with AP Style, as this is the style that Journalism uses.

My responsibilities include reading the papers of fellow students to check for grammatical errors, flow, clarity, and logic. I assist students at all stages of the writing process and helped ELL students to craft better papers. I also helped students with visual disabilities by editing the papers that they wrote using the Dragon Dictation system.

Washington State Attorney General'S Office

During my time as a Public Affairs Intern for the Washington State Attorney General's Office, I was given the opportunity to learn how a government office functions. I learned how to draft and create Press and News Releases, as well as how to carefully choose language to best fit the desired meaning. I also gained a general background of the legal system in which the Attorney General's Office functions. The internship allowed me to experience a very professional workplace and gave me an understanding of how to use various media, such as social media, video and image to help make a statement and speak to diverse groups of people.

At Saint Martin's college bookstore, I learned the operation of a Barnes and Noble College store. My duties included running the POS at the front of the store, placing displays of clothing and school supplies according to Planograms given to us by the company, sending and receiving books via the TextNet system, receiving and filling orders using the Accelerator system, paying bills and ordering books via the TA and TA2 systems, as well as general customer service and time management skills.
