Whisky Frames (Recently awarded Winner of RBS Great British Entrepreneur Start Up of the year 2017) is a company that create unique rustic photo frames made from re purposed Scottish whisky barrelsOriginally it was set up as a project for my wife when she was on maternity leave, but due to its success it has allowed her to become her own boss and we now employ 3 staff and growing rapidly.Although not actively involved with the day to day running, I continue to develop the product and design new frames to compliment the range. I also ensure that the production is lean and efficient. Implementing new procedures and systems to ensure a smooth operation.

Armadilla is my passion and love the challenges of designing and developing beautiful yet functional pods. We have developed a range of products from basic studios to all singing all dancing luxury accommodation.From the first day of Armadilla i have been instrumental in the grown and development of the company and design work of each and every product. Paying meticulous attention to every detail whilst ensuring it is a efficient and salable product to manufacture, transport and above all be desirable.

When hosting a dinner party I decided to spit roast the baked potatoes using the rotisserie function on my oven. All dinner was spent taking about how good they were "you should sell these" commented Sophie. Two months later Rotato was born. Its a small baked potato shop located in Edinburgh city centre that cooks by spit roasting the potatoes then filling them with locally sourced good quality fillings. Crispy skins with a special seasoning salt, soft fluffy centers with a range of 'not your usual' fillings.Located near the University of Edinburgh it is a favorite lunchtime meal for students and locals.
