At the World Service I assist in the production of bulletins and programmes through the day.This may be editing audio, sourcing audio or planning interviews to be played out in the SportToday programme.As well as that I work with SportsWorld which is a three hour programme at the weekend in which I create highlight reels and edit interviews to be broadcasted.

As a regional sports desk producer it is my role to supply copy and audio circuits to English Regions (BBC Local Stations), which can be used to add more content to their sports bulletins. My shift requires me to keep informed of any national and local stories which I can add it a written copy, as well as edit any audio that from BBC 5live that could prove useful to other regions.

This is a two month placement at BBC Radio Humberside, reporting on unsigned music in the region for BBC Raw Talent.I created content to go into the shows, including writing the gig guide feature to be pre recorded. I also have helped preparing bands and artists for the live sessions that BBC Raw Talent does and with this I make sure the guests are taken care of.

I also help create content that goes into the half time reports. Recently I have being desk trained, and have started desk driving the football commentary in which I feed information to the commentators.

In 2009 we changed the name of our Station to Spark FM, then in the summer of 2009 I was a key part of the team in which built and rebranded the station, by putting music and imaging into our new playout system RCS (which I had an extensive week training and now am fully RCS trained). I kept on doing my duties as Head of Music but was given the role of Deputy Programme Controller of the station in January 2010 in which I was one of the integral member of management that created a new sound to the station as well as fresh new presenters on air.
