Responsible for Pre-Sales engineering and on-site Professional Services delivery for UK and DACH territories. I managed a team of consultants in the field ensuring that customer requirements were met successfully and that the team’s needs were fulfilled. I also performed the role of technical consultant in a senior capacity to support the field operations team whenever necessary. Including business development work selling professional services where appropriate.

This role supports the business development team across Europe at a technical level. This is a customer facing role that involves working alongside a business development manager presenting technical demonstrations and proof of concept deployments on-site. I also provide support on the implementation of the different products. This involves the initial setup and integration of the software product into the customer’s environment and delivering training workshops. Follow up optimisation sessions are also undertaken if necessary. I am also involved in professional services such as software testing and intellectual property assessments.

Provide 1st line customer support for a number of software testing tools (static and dynamic) most notably Klocwork, Lattix and Cantata++. Also the open source governance suite of Black Duck software, which required me to attend a training course in the USA. The main role involved dealing with and resolving technical enquiries, issues and trouble shooting by email and telephone. From using the Salesforce and vTiger CRM Systems extensively within this role, I obtained a good understanding of the workflow involved in using CRM systems and IT support processes in general. The high level of customer interaction gave me the opportunity to enhance my customer relationship skills.
