About Ross Mcewen

I spent four years in the IT Industry (Video Conferencing) when the company was purchased. I took the opportunity to explore a different direction and entered the field of education. It took me a little over a year to realize that the IT industry was a better fit for my natural talents and abilities. From an early age I was always fascinated by technology and also had a love for music so I intersected the two which brought me the pursuit of a degree in Music Technology. This path led me to employment within the IT industry, specifically in the Video Conferencing realm. Video Conferencing is fascinating and exciting to me especially now as it is being widely adopted by a myriad of industries due to the recent world pandemic. I served as support engineer applying my technical knowledge to troubleshoot and solve customer’s issues quickly while providing guidance and recommendations to make projects more efficient. My success as a support engineer led to a promotion to IT Project Coordinator. I demonstrate agility and outside the box thinking to drive innovation. I pride myself on being client-focused with excellent communication and interpersonal skills—always willing to take full ownership of a problem until a successful solution is delivered. Clients know that they can count on both my expertise and commitment to meet their expectations.
