For twelve years, I worked at CBS 3 in my hometown of Philadelphia, PA. I produced the weekend and some weeknight editions of Eyewitness News at 10 on The CW Philly. During my time as producer, the newscast saw ratings growth. I was nominated for an Emmy for a broadcast I produced covering the devastation in the immediate aftermath of Superstorm Sandy. From 2003 to 2011, I was a producer for Eyewitness News This Morning. While I was a producer, the broadcast won an Emmy for Best Morning Newscast and was been nominated for several others.In addition to producing, I was assigned on an as-needed basis to shoot supplemental b-roll, interviews and high school sports using a small HD camera. I also became very familiar with non-linear editing and cut ready-for-air video for nearly every script I write. I also had the chance to perform other duties including field producing and working for our sports department. In July of 2012, these two areas merged as I traveled to Washington, DC to field produce coverage of two major trade deadline deals involving the Philadelphia Phillies. I helped gather sound with players and the general manager and interviewed manager Charlie Manuel about the trades. In September of 2012, I field produced a live web stream of the Philadelphia red carpet premiere of the CBS Films release, The Words, starring Bradley Cooper.

I began my career at WSVN-TV in Miami. I helped oversee broadcasts that were fast-paced, cutting edge and a model for other stations to follow. In my time there, I produced newscasts covering major national news stories, including the 2000 Florida Recount, the Elian Gonzalez saga and several major hurricanes.
