I managed a Church, it’s staff and volunteers for 6 years. As a Church Warden I was the highest authority within my church, that means all decisions must be considered and then approved (or rejected) by me. This means that I don’t only manage the vicar and his or her duties but I also manage several volunteers. Within my role I will commonly liaise with the diocese and other external stakeholders in regards to church activity. I think of this role as being a hands on managing role within the church.

In my role at Mitrefinch my primary responsibility is to ensure leads are generated for our sales team in a consistent way. Within Mitrefinch we have ambitious growth plans and I'm pleased to be contributing to them through my lead generation activity.I helped design and now solely maintain www.mitrefinch.co.uk once this was created and put live other Mitrefinch websites were created using the UK site as an image and put live globally which of course I assisted with.As part of my role I also report, analyse and combine a number of KPIs to provide timely and accurate reports for CEO and board level colleagues. This can be looking how leads are entering the business, our ROI and where we should invest budget into next or we could be looking into page speed loading against bounce rates on the websites.I also assist other marketing functions, using my graphic design skills for branding collateral, my experience of events to help showcase Mitrefinch at events and assisting in an Adhoc marketing tasks in any way I can.

I'm responsible for the developments and improvements to www.your-move.co.uk - The UK's Most Visited Estate Agency Website, I also develop and update www.reedsrains.co.uk. This involves the creation of ideas for development and working with internal departments and external companies to see these projects through to completion. I use Google Analytics as well as other custom built stats reporting sheets to report to the heads of the company. These reports are used to identify key areas to improve the overall business.I handle Google+ social accounts over LSL brands, this is an exciting and every changing social platform and I'm happy to be thinking of new and exciting ways to increase +'s and followers.

In my role at the National Railway Museum (NRM) I had learnt a lot about both sides of my job. In regards to Marketing I have had the chance to put my very capable skills at graphic design to use in both marketing and PR campaigns. This in depth knowledge of design has been an asset when having to liaise with external printers on certain jobs under tight deadlines. I also used my web management skills to good use by managing the e-marketing sections for the NRM such as Facebook and sending e-newsletters. I have also contributed to major project marketing plans as well as the overall marketing plan for the this role. In my marketing role I was responsible for the department’s accounts and completing ad hoc tasks for the department when needed.
