Trangender seniors tend to not be commonly seen, but in San Francisco's Tenderloin district, there are plenty that depend on services such as grocery assistance, telehealth, and community programs. At Curry Senior Center, all individuals of all backgrounds are welcome, but I play a vital role that transgender seniors have a voice and help to assist them in daily living. My roles include leading groups, volunteering with partners of Curry, and socializing with isolated seniors. It is truly and honor and privilege to make sure that the denizens of the Tenderloin feel loved, appreciated, and heard in their lives.

Working in a fast pace environment is difficult enough, pair that with the chaotic nightlife and leading a team of hard working restaurant workers was even more challenging. I led a team of experienced and new to service industry workers to help maintain the kitchen, assist customers with numerous questions, and helped maintain the legendary night club DNA Lounge. My responsibilities included training new staff, ordering necessary goods, and most importantly working tirelessly to make nights out go as smoothly as possible for folks.

Fashion is important, and working to maintain inventory and logistics was even more important for the countless clients at Byer California. Working with an experienced and skilled team, I coordinated shipping, helped check inventory, and placed orders for businesses such as Macy's, Ross, and Stitch Fix. My time at Byer was short due to a difficult bout of Covid, but it was incredibly valuable in learning to work efficiently as part of a larger company.

Responsibilities included but were not limited to stocking the textbook shelves, printing out shelf tags for textbooks, answering phones and helping customers with questions and inquiries, shipping online orders from the online website, and general help in various tasks.

Responsibilities included but were not limited to performing general cleaning duties. Additional responsibilities included designing and maintenance of the company website, social media accounts while providing marketing support to help grow the family business.
