Born-and-raised on the Oregon Coast, I have a knack for small communities, which is why I chose to attend Willamette University for Undergraduate and have continued here for graduate school. My time at Willamette truly feels defined by my student-athlete experience. Coming from a family of athletes, it is so rewarding to be a part of a college team and succeed alongside of my teammates. I also feel that my time as a student is defined by the Ford family Foundation. My experience and educational career would not have been possible without TFFF. I have been so privileged to not only be an Undergraduate Ford Scholar, but also a Graduate Ford Scholar. It has been such a blessing to learn and focus on what really matters-- and I am forever grateful for them. Outside of school I love to scrapbook, hang out with friends and family, read, play tennis, golf, play board games, rehearse, and as of recently-- book bind. I have played flute for 12 years and have been lucky enough to perform at Carnegie Hall, which was such a surreal experience. And like everyone my age, I love to explore new places and travel, with my most recent international trip to Athens, Greece with Willamette University's Department of Archeology. Finally, I also photography and even opened a business in 2019 doing discounted senior photographs for students. I love to have all of my important moments documented, and it has been so fun getting to provide that for others. As a professional, I prefer a workspace that is collaborative and relies on communication. I do my best work when I have someone to bounce ideas off of and work together towards a mutual goal.
