I am a 5th semester magna cum laude fashion design student at FIT, where I spent my first year on the NY campus and my second year in Florence, Italy at Polimoda. I started my creative career on stage, having spent most of my life as a competitive dancer on a national circuit, interpreting ideas through performance. After high school, I transitioned that passion for visual expression into fashion design, getting accepted to FIT with no prior design, or even sewing, experience. There, I fell in love with the worldbuilding around collections projects: crafting the concepts, textiles, and silhouettes and minding the audiences, markets and trends, ultimately matching conceptual vision with flawless technique.My vision for the future is to deepen the experience I honed with fabric and silhouettes to the broader medium of ideas, applying the art of conceptual storytelling to the broader business medium of visual communications and marketing.
