I'm responsible for working with the Executive Director to identify cost effective locations for meetings and events, providing cost comparisons and negotiating contracts with vendors for facilities, equipment, meals and lodging as needed. I also manage online as well as onsite registrationThere are several meetings each year with attendance of 120 to 225 including directors, parents, and staff in attendance. The meetings usually last 3 days. Budget and AccountingOHSA operates on a limited budget which must be carefully and accurately developed and maintained. I prepare Event Reports, upon request, which show expenditures for specific Conferences and Meetings and helps us maximize OHSA revenues. General Administrative Support to the Executive Director and OHSA Executive Board assistance in insuring that insurance, non-profit status and other regulatory requirements are met. This includes preparing reports and coordinating with our tax accountant for tax preparation. I Manage the disbursement of funds for the Scholarship Process and the Charitable Check Off Grants. I provide general clerical and other support to the Executive Director and Board by making travel arrangements and assists with preparing and processing reimbursements for travel and other expenses. I currently work with the technical consultant to post and to remove items on our web site to keep the web site current, also update the List Serve for the Program Directors and set up other email lists.
