One of my first memories of school, was being told that I was too shy and needed to learn to speak up more often, “Ruby, is definitely a bright little girl, but she needs to communicate more often with her peers!” Fast forward to today, where I have developed this art of being able to communicate with anyone at any given time. Working in different careers, have allowed me to utilize my communication skills in different ways, I’ve learned that effective communication is at the core of any successful leader and ongoing relationship, work or personal. I have developed a passion for not only being the voice of those that cannot communicate for themselves, but also coaching people to communicate effectively. In coaching I can do this, by helping people acknowledge the potential within themselves and be able to communicate that effectively through their work. I encourage people to not only use that voice but build relationships and human connection! I can communicate with people from all walks of life, I have a passion to grow and lead by example! This passion has started my interest in Human Resources, I recognize the opportunity this presents, to understand the most important asset of any organization, the people. I see the need to combine my communication, knowledge of people and passion to build connection with my desire for problem solving. I am obsessed with staying organized and making everyone’s life easier. It brings such a genuine joy to my heart to take care my family-Work or Personal. There aren’t many things that can grow a relationship the way the trust and dependability can, and I pride myself in being so dedicate to both. When I’m not at work, I’m at home mothering my favorite little people. My kids are my rock, and they help me keep grounded and understand my true purpose. The love I have for my family is so infectious that I can’t help but radiate it onto anyone I cross paths with. I truly just want to help everyone, and I will always advocate for what’s right, and I will go out of my way to ensure that. At the core I am just a mom, and that’s all that it really comes down to. I believe in the power of humanity, I will bend over backwards to help others when I can, but I also understand the importance of standing your ground and holding your own- firm but kind- Balance.
