Employed on a contract to increase the reliability of plant. Duties included:▪ Supported maintenance execution department to minimize downtime in Refinery equipment by regularly reviewing condition monitoring reports and maintenance strategies▪ Applied technical expertise to make independent decisions and support engineering tasks, improving fixed plant equipment performance.▪ Monitored operational results against benchmarks, implemented contingency plans, and conducted root cause analysis for performance issues.▪ Reviewed asset budgets, designed solutions to prevent breakdowns, assessed risks, and promoted a risk-aware culture.▪ Built effective relationships with stakeholders and led continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

▪ Assisting in preparing/reviewing drawings (AutoCAD/SOLID WORKS), calculations, and reports to make recommendations for engineering improvements and problem-solving.▪ Reviewing and approving mechanical engineering activities planned by the contractors to ensure compliance with the scope of work and quality objectives of the project.▪ Assisting the maintenance department in engineering assignments and implementing safety, reliability, and cost improvements.▪ Defining the Scope of work and being able to manage, plan, safely execute, and commission approved maintenance projects.▪ Conducting RCA through 5WHYS’s and Fishbone's methods to find out the actual/root cause of the problem that occurred and resolve it permanently.

▪ Working as a Trainee Engineer in the Maintenance department to deliver solutions to engineering problems and ensure the continuous operation of the plant.▪ Worked collaboratively with the Senior Engineer, analyzing products and innovatively designing new parts to support continued functions▪ Communicated with production workers to troubleshoot any recurring issues to meet production KPI's.▪ Worked on various industrial and production machines including Turning, Milling, and Drilling machines to learn the machining operations.▪ Developed a sound knowledge of Maintenance engineering principles and how to manage workers in the plant to resolve issues promptly.
