The goal of Apte laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic (Lerner Research Institute) is to determine the molecular basis of tissue function, the biological basis of disease and pathways to cures. Specifically investigating the role of ADAMTS gene in early embryogenesis.

Supplemental Instruction (SI) Sessions provide additional academic support to a variety of classes. The SI Leader is responsible for conducting 2 to 4 scheduled reviews sessions each week that follows the course lectures. The SI sessions provide a chance for students to get together with classmates to compare notes, discuss important concepts, and develop strategies for studying the subject. The end goal of a SI instructor is to get students to become independent learners by planning activities that encourage students to work together and process material themselves.
