Led diverse teams of government civilians and industry contractors on multiple projects, in support of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program. These activities established the foundation for the development and implementation of ground operations processes necessary to accept and operate the initial production F-35 B/C JSF test aircraft for NAVAIR Systems Command. Coordinated extensive, first-run aircraft modifications for operational test and evaluation. Managed all EVMS components of project performance, scope, schedule, and cost through successful project completion.

Assembled and oversaw a cross-functional team of aircraft maintenance professionals that stood up the first V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft squadron aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Led a team of leaders with varied specialties and skillsets to establish the ground operations and maintenance processes and programs necessary to create a new squadron on a base with no other similar aircraft or support structure. This also included the development and creation of all maintenance/ground operations processes and safety programs as well as logistics and supply processes in order to successfully complete the Initial Operational Capability (IOC) phase of becoming a fully mission capable squadron.

Responsible for leading a 400+ person aircraft maintenance department in high-tempo combat operations. Managed the overall productive effort of the department as well as all of the priorities for 14 production work centers in order to maximize the readiness of 27 attack helicopters. Responsible for more than $65 million in equipment necessary for ground operations. Achieved the highest readiness rating of any forward-deployed Marine Corps aircraft squadron in Afghanistan for the duration of Operation Enduring Freedom.Responsible for the overall productive effort and material support of the department. Provide sound advice to upper echelon leadership of the overall workload and material situation as it affects the department.Lead and manage the department in an effort to ensure that the full capability of the department is used effectively and efficiently in the support and execution of the department workload.Review monthly and annual summaries and reports to ensure the effective use of personnel, equipment, and facilities through continuous process improvement and lean/six sigma methodologies.Conduct scheduled management meetings within the department to ensure that supervisory personnel were aware of upcoming requirements. These meetings are intended to present proposed plans and discuss problems, requirements, support, and other factors involved in the overall effort of the department. Maintain liaison with higher-echelon activities, outside entities and supporting units such as the Supply Department. Investigate accidents or injuries and prepare reports of findings.
