Training encompassed the classification of requests, how to best documenting activities, and best practices when communicating with the customer when solving issues.

• Build and maintained servers, storage, and network infrastructure as directed by IT management. Deploy Windows 2008 servers (38) on new and repurposed HP and IBM hardware, virtualized servers utilizing ESX ver. 5.5. Maintain, configure and monitor HP Lefthand SAN storage systems (20TB), deploy new and updated Cisco network switches.• Build and maintained backups using BackupExec 2012, deployed on an IBM server and Dell PowerVault T-2000 w/LTO-5 drives backing up 30 file and application servers. Utilizing this system I was able to successfully backup all necessary data to tape and store off site meeting all SOX regulations. • Successful deployment of Windows Update Server Service this provided for the monitoring of patch levels, deploying Microsoft security patches and application updates to all windows devices on the network.• Support Terminal Services and Citrix Xenapp (4.5) for applications hosted in Houston, hosted applications include Welding ProWrite, Syteline 7 (US, UK), FormPro, and NCR (In house QC application).

Activities include troubleshooting outages, firmware updates, review and upgrade of switch gear, and configuration of switches VLAN’s and QoS for phones.• Maintain and administer Avaya Dyfinity phone system consisting of 3 gateways (G650, G450, G350), 280 analog phone devices, 80 IP phones, voicemail, and overhead paging/notification. Duties include the management of phone devices, configuration changes, voicemail management, and tier II support for system wide issues. After stepping into the lead role a review of the land line phone spend was conducted, new contracts for consolidating the PRI’s were negotiated with a savings to the business units of $75K over the 3 years.

• Customer Services Team Lead with a team of 15 supporting 3 divisions in the Houston area. Responsibilities ranged from cost center management, team member development, and customer escalations for all desktop support activities.• Global Enterprise Server Team Lead in charge of 28 people maintaining 1700 Windows servers, 320 Unix Servers, and over 200 TB of data distributed worldwide. Support also included security and legal compliance in accordance with SOX and SEC, backup/replication/restore, break fix, proactive monitoring, and capacity planning. • Global Back Project Lead, I was responsible for developing a Global Data Management strategy for all the windows servers. This included Backups, Replication of data from smaller sites, and Hierarchical Storage Management. Project development also included product selection with software and hardware partners, the gathering of all relative information about the environment, and an ROI. Once this was completed a detailed deployment plan was completed and then presented to corporate for approval.• Designed and developed specification for the SAN Storage System housing the current Exchange environment and deployed over 40 Terabytes of SAN Storage at division locations. • Desktop Site Coordinator, lead the activities of four desktop technicians and monitored team service request queues to maintain SLA closure rates. • Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot EMC CX SAN storage with Brocade switches. Install and support server based application to include EMC MirrorView, McAfee, Monitoring Agents, ARCserve/Veritas Netbackup, Netbackup Professional and Veritas Cluster software. Deployed and supported VMware servers hosting services such as web, SQL, Citrix, and many in house applications. Supported ADIC libraries Scalar 10K, I2K, and i500’s.

•Local Area Network Administrator configured and maintained Dell servers worldwide, also worked with divisional department to determine how best to spend there IT budgets. This included SAN storage systems for engineering data, database servers, Citrix Farms, and desktop backup solutions.•Desktop Site Coordinator, lead the activities of four desktop technicians and monitored team service request queues to maintain SLA closure rates. • Helpdesk Coordinator successfully managed four helpdesk technicians supporting 2000 customers worldwide.
