UCD's paid undergraduate ambassador team. Members of the Student Ambassador team must display an intimate knowledge of, and enthusiasm for student life in University College Dublin. My role involves giving tours of the campus to prospective students and their parents/guardians, and working at various UCD events promoting the University.

Science Student Leaders work as ambassadors for the College of Science, in a promotional and outreach capacity. Founder of the UCD Women+ in STEM society, I, as a member of the executive team lead a group of 16 other students on our committee, as well as coordinating our outreach program.As treasurer my main duties lie in procuring sponsorship and financial planning of the society.

Working with the Solar Physics and Space Weather group on optimising and redesigning solarmontor.org, a Sun monitoring website which takes near real time data from Space & ground based instruments looking at the Sun. These images are processed and presented on the site, which is used by Solar Physicists across the globe. Main role involves back end image processing and data acquisition. Using Python (Flask & Sunpy) and html, working in GitLab as a team. As an active member of the group I also attend Journal Club meetings & seminars on a wide range of astrophysics topics.

I was awarded this scholarship in May of this year, through a highly competitive application process, with students from UCC, UCD and WIT applying for one of two positions. This scholarship was introduced on a pilot basis in 2018, in order to encourage greater female participation in professional disciplines where women are traditionally under-represented. I was chosen for this positions due to my extensive leadership and team work experience, and hope that this summer I gain a further knowledge of the complexities and challenges of effective leadership under the guidance of mentors within Sanofi.

Research Fellowship working with interactive wall technology with art, music, empathy, research, anthropology and storytelling.This fellowship also involves working at promotional and outreach events with the group, teaching children and adults alike all about the Design Thinking process and how innovation works.

This summer I had the pleasure to participate in a three-week intensive program that bridges theory and practice on how the progressive spirit of California is driving a new generation of entrepreneurs to construct new and innovative ways to transform traditional manufacturing. As a cohort of 25 students from all across the world, we visited Californian manufacturing companies, and got to engage in conversations with managers and entrepreneurs, to see how they have leveraged strategic design tools to discover spaces of creative intervention. Organised workshops and classes where we teach primary school children about STEM. The role involved organising volunteers, writing and compiling material for classes, coordinating with schools and teachers, and teaching the classes.

The role of the Sponsorships Officer involves investigating sponsorship opportunities from the commercial business sector and working with the Treasurer on financial planning for the society to ensure that adequate funds are being generated.My involvement with the society also encompassed helping out at events, and assisting the committee in their individual tasks to ensure a successful year for the society.

UCD Junior Schools is the largest competition of its kind in Europe.It is a debating competition run for secondary school students from first to third year who attended school in Leinster. This year almost 400 students participated in it, from schools all across Leinster (this was the highest engagement the competition has seen to date).As one of the two convenors my role involved running the competition, setting motions and facilitating this space for students to grow their confidence and debating capabilities. Running the competition involved working closely with the committees of the UCD Law Society and UCD Literary and Historical Society, UCD Estates Services. This year we reduced the registration fee for DEIS schools to widen participation of students from all backgrounds, re introduced a competition handbook and gave dates of rounds in advance to allow teachers to plan the schedule around their students. I was awarded the Gold Medal for Oratory at the end of the academic year, in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the society.

Promoted after 10 months, lead supervisor of a team of 10. I was responsible for representing managing team to staff, ordering from suppliers, recruitment, managing menus and pricing.

Work experience placement in the dynamic department of marketing. I delivered competitive analysis for Groupon, allowing them to understand their position regarding their promotional emails relative to the market, by analysing the emails of SOSH Seattle, LivingSocial and Amazon.I prepared and presentation a detailed report to the marketing team with my findings and comments and worked with the team directly to implement these changes.
