I actively participated in incident investigations, conducted risk assessments, and facilitated HAZOPS and HAZIDs as necessary. Additionally, I liaised with stakeholders to ensure safe and reliable oil and gas production, troubleshooting issues as they arose. My proactive approach included optimizing platform efficiency and managing costs effectively. I also oversaw the 90-day tactical plan and coordinated the start-up and integration of new projects. Familiar with the platform production systems and ensure that the Production staff are properly trained in their safe operation and maintenance.Responsible person for all operations in the production department requiring a work permit and that all safety precautions are taken and that the work is carried out in a safe manner.Ensure the safe and efficient isolation, de-isolation and reinstatement of all process plantCommunicates closely with the OIM and Maintenance Supervisor to optimise production and maximise uptime.Ensure that all plant start-ups and shutdowns are performed timely and safely in accordance with established procedures

Responsible for the safe & optimum operation of the platform process and utility systems, taking action to prevent or rectify abnormal plant situations when necessary. Monitoring and directing Production Operators to ensure continuity of operations production routines. Initiating first response during emergency situations and coordinating/controlling further process actions.Safely apply & remove inhibits/overrides to fire, gas and emergency shutdown systems in accordance with applicable operating procedures. Operation of platform wells utilising Gaslift & subsea satellite fields through separation whilst maintaining produced water within company specification. Maximising gas plant efficiency to optimise NGL production / gas export to minimise flaring. Maintaining daily shift logs of all relevant events/activities and completion of detailed reports.

Operate and monitor the oil, gas, water injection and utility systems. Participate in the optimization of the production plant, including the use of production chemicals. Ensure that all systems are operated safely, efficiently with maximum availability and that emergency systems are maintained in a state of readiness and availability. Carry out routine tasks and servicing throughout the plant as and when required. Responsible for the preparation, isolation, maintenance and reinstatement of plant equipment including leak testing. Have an acting role as an Area Technician and Performing Authority following the ISSOW permit to work system, including a competent gas tester when required.
