Simulation Database Engineer
● Lead a 36-person group that developed and delivered runtime databases for the Synthetic Environment Core program. Team disciplines included: Source acquisition, GIS manipulation, 3d model creation, live, virtual, constructive and gaming (LVC-G) runtime database generation, integration and test and delivery to customer● Provided expertise and design support throughout the Systems Engineering lifecycle between the Engineering/Development groups and the Synthetic Environment Generation group for all confederate systems as well as tool and software updates● Wrote software and scripts to automate runtime database generation functions. Primarily utilized the Python software language● Assisted in the understanding and decomposition of requirements for all new supported systems● Coordinated and provided status externally with US Government counterparts on production progress to include cost and schedule● Supported training site source collection (photo, video, GPS and GIS source data) and runtime database test and integration● Participated in proposal technical volume writing as well as overall proposal reviews
