As a program I helped run a program that aimed to provide lessons in financial literacy, work and career readiness, and entrepreneurship to positively impact the lives of upper elementary aged children. I was required to communicate with teachers in preparing their students to attend a simulation on running a mock town where each student had a job and earned/spent money. I was also responsible for training parents and volunteers for each day's simulation.As the summer camp coordinator, I was responsible for planning, organizing and running summer camp for children on the USS Midway where students had similar learning objectives.As I transition from a part-time to full-time employee, I was also responsible for data entry and organization as the company was preparing to offer an additional literacy program for older students.
