As a fund accountant II this role taught me and continues to teach me a treasure trove about being a leader, taking responsibility, and looking for improvements within my workflow and others. During this time I have become more comfortable with voicing my opinion about issues that are affecting the team and providing solutions. I've also learned what to spend my time on focusing on what is more pertinent vs what can be done at a future date. As a Fund Accountant I a large portion was spent training and learning the ropes of the company as a first time as a white collar worker. During this time I perfected my note-taking strategy and realized the difference between useful and useless question asking to save time when learning new tasks. Working a warehouse job taught me a lot about getting along with other in stressful conditions and time management. This job was a very valuable learning opportunity that helped me realize what worked best for me in a very hands on job. During this time I gained the trust of my peers and drivers through my consistent work quality and can do attitude.
