Student of mechanical engineering at Portland State University, graduating the spring of 2018. Educational interests include green building design, mechanical component design, sustainable materials and processes and renewable energy generation. Extracurricular activities include the sustainability volunteer group garden task force to maintain and design the gardens and orchard located on the PSU campus and coordination of the Agri-Tech club furthering the understanding of agricultural technologies to improve efficiency of land use and maintenance.General construction, building greenhouses with implemented aquaponic systems as well as general handyman work, decking, etc. Volunteer with the Living Islands non-profit organization leading the design of a floating barge greenhouse to implement in the Marshall Islands to provide food security year round. Hobbies include gardening, oregon mycological society and foraging as well as cycling, skateboarding, surfing, skiing and snowboarding.
