A recent graduate from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a degree in political science and history. At UMass, I devoted my time in two major areas: international relations research and university advancement. As a political science major, I am very passionate about world politics and increasing connections across the globe. In the Human Security Lab at UMass, I worked on research on nuclear disarmament and climate and refugee policy. These experiences led to grant development and applications to the National Science Foundation and private philanthropic foundations, comprehensive literature reviews, quantitative survey design, practitioner engagement with numerous INGOs and governments. Moreover, I was President of the Model United Nations club and engaged in PhD coursework. As a Student Representative of the UMass Alumni Association Board of Directors and President of the Student Alumni Association, I acted as a representative to the University to countless donors and constituents, championing to mission, vision, and values of UMass Amherst. In my experience, I coordinated various programs with University executive leaders and Foundation staff members, planned events engaging over 5,000 students, and oversaw all logistical and administrative functions of the organization. I am a relationship-builder, strategic thinker, and organizer excited to enter the professional world. I carry a deep passion for the work I pursue and am always driven by improving the public good. My goal is to work in development for a non-profit institution, gaining expertise in fundraising, with the intention of pursuing a Master's degree in International Relations.
