Events Coordinator (Acting Events & Experience Manager - 2016)

Metricon Stadium, Gold Coast, Australia

Working as the Events Coordinator for the Gold Coast Football Club (GCFC), I gained great experience in Event Management; including the planning, delivering and evaluating high profile (large scale) match day events. Outside of Match Day events, I project managed club events – including community, fan engagement, membership and sponsor events. Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure each of their objectives were met, whilst also ensuring that the brand of the GCFC was not only protected, but enhanced as a result of the event. Working alongside the Events Manager, I also assisted with the planning, execution and evaluation of two marquee events (Women of the SUNS Ladies Lunch and Club Champion) that sold out with over 450 guests on an annual basis.Displaying a strong ability to multi-tasking and display exceptional attention to detail, I have worked to strict deadlines for multiple events. This was demonstrated through the successful management of AFL Match Day events for GCFC matches at Metricon Stadium – a stadium managed by the GCFC that accommodates for up to 25,000 sporting enthusiasts. These skills and attributes we formally acknowledged at the conclusion of the 2015 AFL Premiership Season where, in front of 450 guests, I was recognized as the GCFC Employee of the Year.Key Areas of Responsibility: • Match day events and fan experience • Marquee corporate events• Internal club events • Club communication • Acting Events & Experience Manager & Game Day TV Producer (2016)
