Tests electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring,equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters,voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system Works from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repairelectrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures Read and interpret engineering drawings, instructions, wiring diagrams andschematics Inspect electrical systems, components, and equipment to identify hazards orfaults Manage and maintain tools and equipment necessary for electrical work Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimizedowntime and maximize efficiency Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement processimprovements Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations while performing electricalwork Install conduit, outlets, panels, and wiring Test, calibrate, repair, and maintain electrical equipment Perform material take-offs from engineering drawings for fabricationprojects Maintain assigned stock of inventory and company equipment Work safely and maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance withcompany processes and procedures Assisting with electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance Learning and following electrical codes and standards Repairs, installs, replaces, and tests electrical circuits, cables, equipment, andconnectors. Uses hand tools and testing equipment. Able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes
