Solved the following two manufacturing problems: capacity constraint and a quality issue. After analyzing the company’s capacity process and identifying bottlenecks, a recommendation to modify the existing equipment in order to reduce the bottleneck constraint to meet the demand was provided. Also, used a Fishbone Diagram to find the root cause in the Torsion Bar’s quality issue. Then, using Six Sigma analysis, recommended a solution for the quality issue.
